So what do you think of the simple feel? When you first opened up the website, could you tell immediately what the website was trying to say? Which principles of design do they use? Explain why. Please leave a comment below sharing your thoughts! :D
I really liked THIS website because it breaks the traditional look of websites, and goes for something completely out of the box. This website has several boxes in fact, with pictures of different people and things breaking up the just boxes look. If there were anymore boxes, I would say it was very busy, but the combination of big boxes, which have the important messages and images that quickly get the point across, it makes a prefect balance of too little and to much. To better get their point across, the words they really wanted you to remember were highlighted red, it's overall very sleek and nice. So what do you think of the simple feel? The Color,Shape, Rhythm, and balance are the web design principles this website uses well. Colors because they bring you to certain shapes of the site. Shapes because it is made up of squares etc. Rhythm because of repetition of that shape. balance because they are all pretty balanced except the text box which is bigger then the others.

This uses balance as it cuts the very website itself in half. Also it uses rhythm to show its a simple website.

I like the simplicity of this site. I could tell the website was trying to say it is a small company with big results and capabilities. I believe they used color, shapes and rhythm as the principles of design for this website. Color is well balanced and brings your focus to the areas of importance, like the red lettering on certain words and the different gray tones to create the squares. Rhythm is obvious threw the repetition of the square and layout. Shapes is obvious use of squares throughout the entire page.

I like this website because the color scheme is picked very well. I also like how the picture fit in so well. I like the design because they made it look like the website was a main page of an android cell phone. I like how it is simple and to the point. I like how is somewhat introduces the people on the websites home page.

I really like this website. It is very neat and simple, but is very intriguing as well. I couldn't tell exactly what product the website was advertising, but it has something to do with a cell phone. I really like the colors of this website. For the principles of design used on this website, I believe there is balance, color, rhythm, and shapes. I like how they arranged the picture boxes. It is just enough without being too much. Very good design.

I really love the simple yet complexity of this website. I knew the website was trying to be edgy and different, but wasn't sure what exactly they were. Then I read the title of the webpage and figured it was an app making company. I really love how they incorporate many of the principles of design. Some of the main ones that stick out are balance, color and emphasis I think . Balance is important for this website, because without it, the webpage would look hectic. However, the balance between the boxes pictures and text are really all working together in a very eye pleasing manner. The use of color is also great because the used lots of ash color, so when they brought in the pictures or the salmon colored text it popped. I think the emphasis gets put on the words, because that is how you really learn about the company. By creating a pattern with the boxes your eye immediately goes to where that patter is broken...aka with the text.
